Jetvac provides a marine vacuum collection system for toilets and urinals onboard vessels ranging from large ferries (xxx toilets) to smaller pilot boats. We are experienced in providing a marine vacuum collection system for both Canadian and US naval vessels and for icebreakers that operate in the most hostile environments in the world.
The versatility of our marine vacuum collection system also allows collection of grey water from sinks, showers and galleys.
A significant advantage of a marine vacuum collection system over gravity is that the water volume is greatly reduced, allowing the sewage treatment plant to be significantly smaller. This is also advantageous for vessels that are required to avoid even the discharge of treated sewage in certain ports, since space on board ship is not compromised by the need for very large storage tanks.
Jetvac Inc can supply both floor and wall mounted marine vacuum collection toilets. We can also provide stainless steel urinals, grey water tanks and scuppers.
Bluenose II Schooner
Jetvac is proud to have worked on the Bluenose II Schooner, Nova Scotia's famous tall ship, providing its vacuum waste system!
Bluenose II, Nova Scotia’s sailing ambassador, is a faithful replica of her famous mother, the original Bluenose schooner that was launched in 1921 and raced undefeated in international competition for 17 years. Like her mother before her, Bluenose II sails out of her home port and birth place, Lunenburg a UNESCO World Heritage site on Nova Scotia's South Shore. History of the Bluenose
